This WA grown sustainable stoneground wholegrain rye flour is grown and milled on the farm. It is gently ground and the entire rye berry is retained and makes a delightful rye loaf & when mixed with a white flour to give lighter loaf with a robust flavour. Rye flour has a weak gluten so tends not to rise as much on its own. This is also great to use for your rye sourdough starter. This flour is ideal to make pumpernickel bread. Ingredients: Rye Flour. Contains Rye Gluten
